Marc Dupaquier is General Manager, Global Mid Market Business, and a member of the IBM Senior Leadership Team. Marc joined IBM in 1983 as a Software Sales Specialist in Marseille, France. Throughout his 26-year career, he's held critical leadership positions including: Account Manager for government customers in Paris, Account Manager in charge of one of France's largest banks, Retail Banking Sales Manager, Banking Business Unit Executive, Executive Assistant to the General Manager and Chairman of IBM France, head of IBM France Software Sales, Director of Software Operations for IBM Europe Middle East Africa, Worldwide Sales of Data Management, and most recently, General Manager, Business Systems, where he had the responsibility of the server business for Small and Medium size companies. Marc is a graduate of the Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Toulouse (Master in Management Toulouse Business School), and successfully achieved an Executive Master of Business Management at the London School of Economics. Married with four children, Marc has a special interest in rugby, a sport he played for 25 years, skiing and tennis.
