Jonathan Kass was appointed to the position of chief information officer at VPI Pet Insurance in November of 2005. As CIO, Kass is responsible for developing and implementing the strategic information technology (I.T.) programs designed to enable and support VPI's growth and profitability objectives. Kass possesses nearly 20 years of information technology and computer engineering experience. He most recently served as senior director of I.T. for Pacificare Behavioral Health (PBH), where he performed I.T. management over the largest single new client implementation in PBH history, representing 20% growth in membership and a significant increase in the complexity of the business.
